We are delighted to congratulate Valerie on becoming president of Bookbird, Inc., the board that oversees the publication of IBBY's international publication, Bookbird, A
Journal of International Children’s Literature. Valerie, a member of the iBbY Ireland committee, is a former president of iBbY Ireland and a former co-editor (with Siobhán Parkinson) of Bookbird.
